Hi, I’m Veronica Lamas!

Economics student at the University of Michigan with a passion for product innovation. I bridge analytical thinking, technical skills, and UX design experience to build meaningful, user-focused solutions.

Hello!

My name is Veronica Lamas, and I’m a third-year student at the University of Michigan majoring in Economics with a minor in Computer Science and UX Design.

As a first-generation American, I’m passionate about simplifying complex problems and creating user-friendly solutions that empower diverse communities. My unique perspective combines technical proficiency in C++ and Python with a strong foundation in UX Design and Economics, allowing me to approach problem-solving with both creativity and data-driven insight.

I’ve worked on projects like interviewing University of Michigan students about their experiences relocating for internships to design solutions that address real-world challenges, such as easing transition anxieties and fostering connection.

When I’m not designing on Figma, I enjoy journaling at coffee shops in Chicago or Ann Arbor and spending quality time with my niece and nephews.
